Traveling to Clemson from airports
There is limited public transportation to the city of Clemson. The following information can assist you in traveling from your point of arrival in the United States to Clemson, South Carolina.

Air:
From Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport (GSP)

Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is located in Upstate South Carolina midway between the cities of Greenville and Spartanburg. By car it takes about 50-60 minutes to Clemson.

A private shuttle service called Airport Shuttle will transport you to Clemson for approximately USD 45.00 cash, depending on the number of passengers. You must reserve this service if you plan to use it by calling the service’s 24-hour, toll-free number at (800) 669-6463 within the United States or +1(864) 295-4098 outside the United States. The shuttle driver will wait for you in the airport at the bottom of the escalator leading to the baggage claim area.

From Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport (ATL)

ATL is located in south of the city Atlanta, Georgia. By car it takes about 2 hours to Clemson.

Train (Amtrak):
The southbound train (from New York) arrives in Clemson at approximately 6:30 a.m.


The northbound train (from Atlanta) arrives in Clemson at approximately 10:15 p.m. The train station is approximately 2 miles from campus. If you have not made housing arrangements, go to a local hotel (see page 7 for a list of hotels). Amtrak’s Web site is amtrak.com.
